I remember the first Saturday night we had it we invited EvERYONE over for a double feature, we probably had thirty people in the living room watching commercial free television! I still remember the double feature, I think it was Empire of the Ants and It's Alive! Although that may have been later on. Funny huh, that was before VHS and Beta, when the only VHS machines were HUGE and freakin expensive and they hadn't discovered putting movies on 'em yet.ArtfulDodgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14590229668501463966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12474347.post-1149374383485616292006-06-04T08:39:00.000+10:002006-06-04T08:39:00.000+10:00Cool stuff Dman, we must be about the same age I'm...Cool stuff Dman, we must be about the same age I'm thinking.
When HBO first came out my parents only got it installed in the living room tv, little did they know that I wired it into my itty bitty black and white set downstairs (which we mostly used for Atari 2600!!) I got free HBO until I moved out!
I still have a scar on my thumb from when a neighbor kid showed me how cool hotwheels track acted when you SET IT ON FIRE! Good Lord, its a wonder I'm still alive. If my son did that!!
I remember spending almost an ENTIRE day playing Pong when my friend got one! Sheesh. A few years back I bought one of those old collection games for our PlayStation that had Pong, asteroids, missile command, tempest, etc on it. My son was bored off his ASS! :) Dad still sneaks downstairs sometimes to play Pole Position. hehe.
Remember Bullet Man? Like GI Joe, but he had a silver bullet head and silver arms? Or how about the Six Million Dollar Man and you could look through his head? And make that dumb ass sound.
Ah the good old days. Or the Evil Knieval wind up bike dude? Sweet jumps, until one day we strapped a M60 on his back!

Gotta stop now or I never will.ArtfulDodgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14590229668501463966noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12474347.post-1149335658945421902006-06-03T21:54:00.000+10:002006-06-03T21:54:00.000+10:00D!!!!
