gratuitous mugging in purple ...
Bits & Pieces ...
• Stopped by a strip club last night (it's now 3:25 a.m.). None of the THREE strippers were anything special. None of them were into their performances, but the club was pretty dead. Nothing like disinterested exotic dancers. It's hard for a woman to come across as sexy or sensual when she's blase and indifferent. One had a very nice body, young and supple, but years of drugs and other bad decisions made her face look like it was 65 years old. It was like someone took the head off an old lady and somehow mounted in on the body of a 25-year-old. Sad. And, quite frankly, very scary. Glad I didn't sit at the stage.
• I should be asleep right now. In fact, I should have been asleep for about an hour.
• I hate that I didn't get to play golf this past weekend. Think I will hit the driving range sometime after work this week to get back in the swing of things. Ha! Get it? SWING of things!
• Nevermind.
• I've suddenly become a big fan of D'Anjou pears. Don't know why. Last year I was on an apple kick.
• Need to put another new hole in the belt. Need some new clothes. September is a three-payday month. Maybe then.
• Still have about $200 left from poker winnings. It's great to go for more than a week without having to hit the ATM while you're still spending on groceries, dining out and other things.
• I miss you. Yeah, you ... you know who you are.
• *Achoo*
• Excuse me.
• Recently bought a book I've been wanting to read for a couple of years. Just happened on it. Halfway through it already. Trying to savor it, or I'd be done with it by now.
• Who wants pie?

can i sve my pie for saturday?
and congrats on the belt!
which way is that belt going Dman? I hope in the direction you want it to. Yeah, nothing much worse than a robot stripper, kinda disgusting more than anything else. What kind of pie?
I'll take pie..........
she's probably tired.......she's been shaking her ass all night in uncomfortable shoes and the majority of the customers in there were probably rude and crass........
she probably wants nothing more than to go home, shower, put on baggy clothes and eat cookie dough........
Mmmm....pie.....said using my best Homer Simpson voice while drool cascades down my chin....
I haven't been to a strip club in years.... you quit smoking and I quit going to strip clubs..... odd.. anywho I'll pass on the pie, che'lu. I gots me some wild grapes....
Dz: You asked about the "long irons."
Well, I didn't put the 3 in the bag. Stuck with the Rescue 3. Only pulled it outta the bag once... and at the wrong time. I was in the rough & needed a long shot... It was stupid to try such a low loft club outta the rough. Ended up scrubb'n it about 12 yards. Then took a 6, and bashed it about 160. Shoulda did that the first time, might have been able to save par.
All in all though, hit the 4 & 5 pretty good. The 6 is "butter."
Oh... BTW:
5= 170+
4= 180+
mimi: does it really matter what kinda pie it is? ;)
roxi: not all of them ... this one was freaky most!!
chrissie: no pie? and yay me on the belt! and yes, get me that book ... and some strippers at least make an effort to pretend! they're the ones who get tipped!
sass: pie never lasts that long!
dodger: in a good way, yes. :)
kristen: just one slice? And it was early ... like 8 p.m. ... they were just bad strippers LOL
chrissie: thank you!
signgurl: rock the Homer impression!
mark: I'd rather give up cigs than strippers I think LOL
knight: oops ... bad decision there! and I don't even know ... I hit my 7, when I hit it well, about 155 or so ... I don't hit anything higher than that, unless I'm trying to hit a low punch shot! LOL
heather: I offer pie and now you want ice cream? Greedyguts!!
chrissie: I do look like the willy wonka blownup blueberry gal, don't I? LOL
Yutes!
Ok, started reading the post above but stopped and came down here.
Pie...YES PLEASE.
D'anjou pears...they are too hard for my little family. We prefer the more pedestrian Bartletts.
:D
