Thanks, Democrats.
You see, Guam held its Democratic caucus yesterday. We have 9 total delegate votes -- 5 superdelegates, each with a full vote, and 8 delegates, each with a half vote -- in the upcoming Democratic National Convention.
So, for once, Guam has some influence with national presidential candidates. We can't actually vote for president in the national election, but we do have delegates to the party conventions, and since the Democrat one is still up in the air, technically, we're important for a time.
We've gotten more attentional from presidential candidates than at any time previous. Clinton and Obama have regularly called the media here, given interviews, done TV and radio time, kept in touch with the newspapers, etc. NEVER happened before.
And so they're still counting districts. And probably will be until 3:30 a.m., if not later.
Fucking bleah.
