a quick little update ...

... coming off what was (mostly) a three-day weekend. Saturday was Liberation Day for Guam, marking the day when U.S. forces landed to reclaim the island from 2-1/2 years of Japanese occupation during World War II, so I had Friday (mostly) off. Spent a big chunk of that time -- what else -- World of Warcraft.

... Sunday was spent with the godson, S and C playing golf. I had a horrible front nine but did good on the back. I need to spend much more time working on my putting ... I could have easily broken 90 if I had made a few short putts.

... I hear Hermione is killed and Harry then kills Voldemort. Haven't read it, don't plan to, but that's what I hear. Heh.

... Big project coming up at work ... bleah ... annual thing with all the top managers. Gonna have to bust my ass to catch up on some stuff.

... Also got to write something up for the newspaper outside of my normal stuff. Was supposed to do the interview Thursday but couldn't get in touch with the guy, so I will have to cram it all in Monday.

... No word on the dacshund; I think the guy might have given them all away already. :(

... time for dinner ... Chef Boyardee Ravioli!

Sounds like a lot of little and big things are happening. Now, you must keep at the doxie thing. PLEASE. I am living vicariously through you :)

You're just leading us on with this puppy thing again, aren't you?

You do know you could take the time and respond to email...that is if you ever read emails...~L~

I am surprised that you are thinking about a doxie...they are tiny little dogs. My son was horrified when I talked about a little dog. He was so scared of his size 14W foot squashing a little dog that he wanted nothing to do with a little dog. So that sealed the deal for me and I knew it had to be a doberman. Actually it doesn't matter if you get a mutt or a purebred doggie....they love the same regardless of the papers. Just do me one favor...no Paris Hilton dogs...the idea of you with a little tiny teacup puppy scares me!! Hurry up...find a dog...I even tried to see what the shelter on Guam had but they don't post photos : (

Sweet little corgi mix girl sitting right in the shelter on Guam just waiting for her knight in a not so shiny truck to come save her!! Since she is not a puppy, she already is housebroken....A HUGE PLUS ! Come on, save a girl from a fate worse than death...oh wait, shelter dogs are facing death ~tugs at your heartstrings~

I have a golden retriever and she's the best dog I ever had. Goofy as hell but...a really well behaved, funny, dog. And a complete flirt.

Well, I'm glad I read Lisa's comment. I was getting really upset over the notion of Hermione being the one killed. I got my copy over the weekend. Have to finish the book I'm reading and then I'll be all over it.

I can't believe you don't read Harry Potter, D. It's great fun!

Thanks a lot Dz... I'm reading the book now... I should be finished by the end of the day.

Forget the dog and go with a cat. I now have 4. I'm not sure as to what I was thinking. They just keep showing up. Hehe!
