it's 6:30 a.m. ...

... and I am very reluctantly awake.

The only times I usually wake up this early in the morning is to play golf or because I'm just getting home from an all-night poker game, or because some natural disaster has struck or is about to strike the island.

Oh yeah ... and for corporate multi-teleconferences. See, the best time for them to meet is 4 p.m. EST, because they can head home once it's done. Even though it's lunch time on the West Coast ... and 7 a.m. way over here.

It could be worse ... they could've wanted to meet their morning time, which would have meant a 3 a.m. showtime for me.

Time to go ... want — no NEED — to get coffee on the way in.

Hopefully it won't take all that long (fingers crossed) and I can come back home in time to catch a couple hours more of sleep.

Pretend like you are up late after playing a winning poker tournament and are on your way to play 18 holes of golf. Maybe it will make it easier.

Hope you got some good java and had a productive day, Dz.

first i thought i might have stumbled onto my dh's blog after reading this but then read the post before it and realized that in no way could this be his blog as he neither cooks nor does laundry.

he does however get home from poker, often, at the wee hours of the morning.

Dude, I'm having the same problem today. You gotta quit sharing my brain. It's dangerous to your mental stability. I woke up before 5 and finally after rolling and kicking the covers, gave up and got up. Now I'm getting thru the day on pure caffeine.

I'm not here. said...

Honestly, where would our society be without caffeine?

/probably still in bed ;)
