bleah

the bad thing about three-day weekends is everyone seems to be sleeping in ... or out of the house doing something. too many people in blogland only seem to be online from their workplace, so three-day weekends there means empty and lonely over here.

*sigh*

guess I'll go do some chores and shit for an hour or two and hope someone wakes up to keep me company.

I'm awake! You and I are nearly in the same time zone. And I don't blog from work anyway.
So what's the three day weekend for? It's not thanksgiving... it's not July 4th yet... what is it, washington's day?

hasarder: good on ya, sheila! heh

and the last Sunday in May, in the United States, is Memorial Day ... set aside to honor those who have died while serving in the U.S. military ... dates back to just after the U.S. Civil War, but commemorates all the men and women who died serving their country :)

I am taking today as a late spring cleaning day. Getting some exercise that way and still doing what needs to get done.

Nothing memorable going on around here. Laundry, letting my son overwater the plants, eating frozen pizza.

Beat that, suckas!

wrygirl: at least it sounds like you didn't have to work the holiday, you lucky girl!

I was home and around the computer all morning. I wouldn't dream of blogging from work! Not with big brother lurking around. Now that school's out, however, I'll be around more during the day. Unless I'm packing. LOL

I don't blog from work either. Unfortunately I have to "work" at work, heh.

Uncle Buck is one of my favorite movies. John Candy was just so lovable in that movie. Especially when he's "fixing" the washing machine.
